Join award winning wildlife photographer Steve Race photographing the annual Red Deer Rut in a stunning oak parkland setting. This photography experience will be held at Studley Royal Deer Park near Ripon, North Yorkshire which holds some mighty Red Deer stags along with Sika and Fallow Deer.
The photography experience will be tailored towards beginners and enthusiasts. We will look at the techniques and equipment needed to photograph rutting deer and advice and tips will be given on how to get that perfect wildlife image. You will learn about correct exposure, how to deal with tricky lighting conditions such as harsh sunlight or low light levels, depth of field techniques to compensate for the expanse of oak parkland and movement in herds to produce creative images.
