Watching the Scarborough Peregrine's today I witnessed some strange behaviour. The male grabbed a Kittiwake off the cliff and then proceeded to kill it right in front of my eyes. This is the first time I have seen a Peregrine Falcon make a kill with out chasing it's prey in flight. The Peregrine Falcon is the ultimate predator reaching speeds of up to 200mph as it pursues its victims on the wing - Steve YCN.
