This is one of the UK’s seabird photography hotspots, with over 20 species of seabird - including over 90,000 PuffinsGuillemots, Razorbills, Kittiwakes, Fulmars, Shags, Arctic Terns, Common Terns, Sandwich Terns, Little Terns and the very rare Roseate Tern. We also have the opportunity of photographing the Grey Seal colony and a chance of Minke Whale, Bottlenose Dolphin and Harbour Porpoise on our journey to and from the islands.

Trip Details: This trip is ideal for those wanting to see and learn about the wildlife and habitats of the Northumberland coast. If you are interested in photography we will be looking at basic camera techniques and offer tips for capturing incredible wildlife images of some of our iconic seabird species. YCN expert guides Steve Race and Richard Baines will work hard to ensure you have memorable experiences. Our small group tours ensure you learn a great deal, from identification tips to field craft advice, as well as getting to grips with those difficult-to-find species. If you are interested in nature photography, there will be plenty of opportunities to learn new skills or improve your technique from our experienced and enthusiastic photographers.
